WHY TUMO?

TUMO offers an innovative educational experience in tech and design. The educational program covers learning areas such as programming, robotics, drawing, music, game development, animation, and more. Through a balanced combination of self-learning activities, hands-on workshops and learning labs, students gain skills in 21-st century areas while becoming self-confident, motivated individuals. TUMO has been visited by heads of state like German Chancellor Angela Merkel, celebrities like John Malkovich, and academics like Stephen Wolfram. This has led to TUMO’s international expansion – TUMO has now franchised the program worldwide, from Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Mannheim, Kyiv, Tirana, Lyon, and Los Angeles, reaching over 25,000 students who attend TUMO weekly, and tens of thousands of loyal alumni.

WHAT PARENTS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT CAMP TUMO

  • During our 2016 two week summer vacation in Armenia, our two teenagers, ages 15 and 17, had the opportunity to enroll in a weeklong TUMO summer session. They were picked up by buses provided by TUMO every morning from in front of our hotel and returned in the evening, after dinner. Their days were filled with online individualized learning, group projects, and workshops in their areas of interest including animation, video game design, film, and illustration. They went on field trips and met peers from all over the world! On the last day of the program every student was able to share their creations by formally presenting in front of all the parents and students. It was an experience of a life time!
